Tolani Maritime Institute, in collaboration with the IMEI students chapter TMI and the Research and Consultancy cell TMI, celebrated Teachers Day on September 5th, 2023, with a remarkable event called 'IDEATION 2023' - often referred to as the 'Shark Tank of TMI.' This event exemplified excellent organization and coordination, orchestrated by a dedicated team comprising cadets and faculty coordinators of TMI. It was an occasion that showcased the ingenuity of the students, with a total of 16 brilliant ideas presented by the cadets from B.Tech. Marine Engineering and BSc Nautical Science programs. The audience for this event was diverse, with enthusiastic participation from cadets, faculty members, and the administration staff of TMI. IDEATION 2023 was aimed to provide TMI cadets with a valuable platform to Foster Team Spirit, Boost Confidence in Real-Life problem-solving, and Showcase Talent and Innovation. The impact of this event extended beyond the presentations. It ignited a spark of entrepreneurship among the budding talents of TMI, inspiring them to think innovatively and explore new horizons in the maritime world. At the conclusion of the event, three exceptional ideas stood out and were recognized as the winners. Mr. Shailendra Kumar, Vice Principal - ME, graced the occasion by felicitating these winners and presenting them with well-deserved trophies. IDEATION 2023 has not only provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills but has also played a pivotal role in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset within the student community. It stands as a testament to the institute's commitment to fostering talent, encouraging innovation, and preparing students for success in the maritime industry. Tolani Maritime Institute conducted an event 'IDEATION 2023' (Shark Tank of TMI) on the auspicious occasion of Teachers Day (5th Sept 2023) in association with the IMEI students chapter TMI and Research and Consultancy cell TMI. The event was well organized and coordinated by the team of cadets and faculty coordinators of TMI. A total of 16 brilliant ideas were presented during the event by the B.Tech. Marine Engineering and BSc Nautical Science cadets of TMI. The event was attended by the cadets, faculties and staff of the TMI. The main objective of the event was to provide a platform for Cadets of TMI to build team spirit, increase confidence in real-life problem solving, to showcase their talent by presenting the best idea. This event ignited a spark in the budding entrepreneurs of TMI. The 3 best ideas were selected at last and they were declared winners of the event. Mr. Shailendra Kumar, Vice Principal, Marine Engineering felicitated the winners by offering the trophy. IDEATION 2023 appears to have served as an excellent platform for TMI cadets to not only showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills but also to foster an entrepreneurial mindset. It's a great initiative for nurturing talent and encouraging innovation within the maritime community.
