    Celebration of Librarians Day 2023 at Learning Resource Centre Learning Resource Centre of Tolani Maritime Institute celebrated Librarians Day with full of enthusiasm and joy on August 12th, 2023. This day is a great opportunity to honor and pay tribute to Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, who is known as the "Father of Library Science in India," for his significant contributions to the field of Library and Information Science. The gathering of the Principal, Sr. Vice Principal, Vice Principal, Faculty, and Staff Members at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) adds a sense of unity and importance to the occasion. On the occasion, Dr. Rahul Viswe, Librarian highlights the significance of the day itself and sheds light on the remarkable contributions of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan to the field of Library and Information Science. The Principal, Dr. Sanjeet Kanungo acknowledges the initiative taken by the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) and congratulates the LRC staff on occasion which reflects the institute's appreciation for the effort put into organizing this event. The motivational speech delivered by the Sr. Vice Principal, Capt. Manoj Kumar Hirkane inspired and motivated the attendees. He highlights the significance of libraries and the role played by library staff in education and research. The participation of the faculty members in extending their wishes to the LRC staff on Librarians Day not only demonstrates a sense of camaraderie but also underscores the integral role of the LRC in supporting the academic endeavors of both cadets and faculty members.
