“Somewhere behind the athlete you’ve become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little boy who fell in love with the game and never looked back… play for him.” –Mia Hamm The two days following 30th January, 2023 saw a series of volleyball matches as the Tolani Maritime Institute conducted the very first sports event for this spring semester. The inter-house volleyball tournament was organized as part of the Tolani Khel Mahotsava, which showed how the cadets managed to prepare a perfect concoction of teamwork and sportsmanship while their respective houses cheered at the top of their lungs. The winners of this knockout tournament were declared as Morarjee House won against Master House from Team A. Morarjee House also managed to bag another trophy from Team B in the finals by playing against Mudaliar House. Chants saying, "Who are we? Morarjee!", were heard distinctly around the institute as Morarjee gained their well-deserved position on the leaderboard.
