AC0209 - Freshers Party

Crazy nights make the best memories!! One of those nights was observed on the 5th of November 2022 at TMI when senior cadets had organized a stupendous Freshers Party to welcome first-year cadets of Batch 2022. The sole purpose of Freshers at TMI has been to welcome new cadets in a friendly atmosphere to tap into their creative impulses, to boost their confidence and inculcate in them, the habit of participation. On the evening of 5th November, the Twin basketball court lit up with life in Neon lights, for Fresher’s Party. This year, fresher’s carried the trending theme, dipped in the essence of club parties, “NEON”. The evening started with an energetic performance of the song “Neon ~ John Mayer, performed by first-year cadets, followed by various group dances by Nrityayana and musical jamming by Bandish. A punch of humor was added by our very own stand-up comedian from the DNS 22 batch. A very special mention goes to Yashraj Singh Jhala, Daniel Monis, and Jheel Motwani from the fourth year to have pulled off a breathtaking Garba performance that had to be repeated on request of the audience. Garba was followed by a fashion show for the first-year cadets wherein, Cadet Himanshu bagged the first prize, followed by Cadet Meemansha in the second position. It’s rightly said that “save the best for the last”, to further energize and rejuvenate the beautiful evening, we had DJ ELNINO from Waters Club, Pune. The DJ night lasted for about 2 hours and filled the dance floor with energy and Neon Bands. The entire show wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our talented anchors, Sabyasachi Nautiyal and Niharika Khorgade from 1st year, along with Anuditya Mishra and Ninad Bhavsar from 2nd year, who exhibited such wonderful management on stage. In conclusion, the evening of 5th November was indeed a mesmerizing one and it definitely showed us the amount of talent brimming in TMI.
